Poem: Forever In My Heart

I'll never get to meet you,

I'll never get to see your face,

I'll never know what could have been if you had a different fate.

I chose to end your life before it even begun,

I wish I could go back in time and change what I have done.

What I would give to have you here,

To hold you in my arms and look into your eyes,

To tell you that I love you and sooth you when you cry.

But I was stupid and was selfish,

Let others get into my head,

I let everyone convince me that the right thing was to have my baby dead.

I knew that, in my heart, it wasn't what I really wanted,

But still I made the choice to end your life before it started.

I hope that if you're out there,

You do not hate me for what I did,

And if I had the chance I'd end my life so you could live.

You'll be in my thoughts everyday for the rest of my life,

With each each year that passes,

And you'd be getting older.

I'll never forget the biggest mistake I'd ever come to make,

Ending my babys life.
