Poem: I'm Your Mummy, It's Me

What I would do, to have you back,

Only God would really know.

And if I could I'd cuddle your every cell from head to toe.

And my every prayer would be answered,

And I would be complete,

If my four babies were just lying here with me.

 

When I look into my eyes, I see you there in me,

A speechless pain, a refection of who you are to me.

You know I love you three,

For I lost my soul when fear took you away from me.

And I'm your mummy, and I love you so.

I'm your mummy it's me.

 

Don't be scared trust your mummy.

There's a scared little girl in me.

I promise you, I love you,

And I will never let you go.

And if you have a friend, up there,

Who needs a mummy, too,

I will do what it takes beyond the end of time to give my love.

Please let me, it's true.

 

Whatever it takes, I will get it right,

If you would just come back to me.

I will never let fear win again,

It's done enough already.

I will never give in.

I'm your mummy, and I love you.
